We live in the apartment on the 2nd floor and take care of the guests, house & garden.
Here are some ground rules we would like to share.

PAYMENT
Your booking is valid after total payment is recived.
Individual rooms:
100% of the total booking amount by Credit card.
All House:
- Please contact us directly -
100% of the total booking amount or
50% of the total booking amount. The remaining payment is made up to 62 days prior to arrival.
Cancelation Policy
Cancellation requests:
Any fees incurred for the refund will be paid by the canceling customer.
Cancellation requests must be sent by email to:
INDIVIDUAL ROOMS:
Cancellation is fully refundable up to 31 days before the check-in date. No refunds will be made after 31 days have passed until the check-in date.
ALL HOUSE:
Cancellation is fully refundable up to 62 days before the check-in date. No refunds will be made after 62 days have passed until the check-in date.
Covid-19
If by the decision of our National Health Service or the Portuguese Regional Government it's not allowed to travel on the scheduled dates the amount of the reservation will be fully refunded.

Hosts daily routine

The sand

Is cleaned at the ''Atlantic’’ gate by using the prepared bucket, utensils, or outside shower.
Locked doors

Theresia's is closed at night: Responsibility of those who leave at last the common spaces.

Each guest is responsible for their keys and their room valuables.
Lost keys

The room key: 5€

The master key: 50€ (Reproduced in Germany only).

Damages

Before departure report any damage caused during your stay.
Recommendations
Feel at home & bring slippers or indoor shoes
Sleep in peace & close windows and doors before sunset (due to insects and other litlle animals)
When it rains please keep the shutters closed
Avoid banging doors & windows
Porto Santo is a windy island, please use the gutters to secure doors & close windows when not airing the room
Wet towels & swimming clothes
Can be put to dry on the outdoor clothesline
Clean the sand out of your body
To avoid obstructing the pipes we advise our guests to get rid of sand before entering home
Frequently asked questions
MEALS

Is breakfast included?
No, until the present moment we don't offer meals. For now our guests can prepare any meal in the common kitchen. There is also a grill outdoor available.
In the future we will offer a breakfast basket.
ROOM DISPOSITION

How does the disposition on the rooms look like?
Our 6 rooms are all connected by a corridor that leads to comon spaces. Rooms 1-3 are lined up in the Noth side and rooms 4-6 are located on the South side. The main corridor that connects all rooms gives acess to the coomons areas: The living & dining room (100 m2) as well as our spacious kitchen.
Theresia's Gueshouse also offers a spacious outdoor area like the terrace, arcade and gardens. Each area has availeble furniture and sunshades for all guests to use.
